On March 1, 2023, IRAETA held the "Chief Scientist" appointment ceremony, officially appointing Professor Guo Hanjie from University of Science and Technology Beijing as the chief scientist. Prof. Guo Hanjie is a professor (doctoral supervisor) of University of Science and Technology Beijing, a Dingxin scholar of University of Science and Technology Beijing, a famous teacher of Beijing, and the deputy director of the expert committee of Beijing Key Laboratory of Special Melting and Preparation of High-end Metals, and has been devoted to the research of basic metallurgical theory and new processes and technologies of steel metallurgy. In the field of material preparation, Prof. Guo Hanjie has rich research experience and profound theoretical background, and has made a series of remarkable achievements.
